If creating a hashtag for your school, classroom or event, do a search for it on Twitter BEFORE sharing it with others.  It's fine to duplicate as long as the previous hashtag is no longer active and you don't mind accidently being associated with the other activity. Also, don't forget hashtags cannot include spaces or punctuation marks. .
